PIN or Password

You can choose from two different methods to sign in to the Technical Resources Portal. You can use a PIN (Personal Identification Number) with a Google Authenticator passcode or a password.

Google Authenticator is a security app that helps implement a two-step verification process requiring a software installation on your mobile device. Your PIN does not expire, and you do not have to create a password.

Using a PIN and Google Authenticator passcode, you only need to remember the four-digit PIN and have your phone available. The PIN does not expire, and passcode is updated every minute. If you choose to create a password, the password must be complex (possibly more difficult to remember), and you are required to create a new password every 90 days.
