Carrier Discovery Reports
LexisNexis Carrier Discovery reports can be ordered using a VIN (vehicle identification number) or the subject's name and address.

The following sections of the report are returned with identical data, regardless of whether LexisNexis Carrier Discovery by VIN or Carrier Discovery by Name and Address was ordered.

The Subject Search returns PII (personally identifiable information) on inquired subject of the current policy only.

Subject Search Results Field Descriptions
Field	Description
Policy Holder Name	Names found on the policy, in the format of Last, First
Status	Policyholder's relationship to the primary policy holder Possible values: Primary– primary policyholder Listed – secondary and other policyholders such as employees of the insured are reported as listed Excluded– reported by the insurance company as excluded driver
Subject	Subject number that corresponds with the inquiry subject Possible values: 1 (the primary policyholder) OS (other subject)
Effective Dates	The most current policy period begin and end dates
