| Current Policy Found | A Yes or an No will be reported. If Y, the inquiry date falls within one of the policy periods reported or the last reported policy period TO date is within 30 days from the inquiry date. If N, the last reported policy period is greater than 30 days from the inquiry date or the previous policy period is within 30 days of the inquiry date, but the policy status is reported as cancelled or the subject or VIN is reported as excluded on the current policy. |
| # of Prior Policies Found | A prior policy is an optional indicator that tells the ordering insurance carrier if LexisNexis® Carrier Discovery™ registered a hit on policies that are no longer in effect. |
| Possible Lapse | The field indicates if there was a possible lapse between policies for this subject. A Y or an N will be reported. If Yes, the last reported policy TO date is greater than 30 days from the inquiry date or multiple policies are reported and there is a gap in coverage between policies. |
