Data Elements with Police Record Insights
To access to the LexisNexis Police Records Data Elements tab your account must be set up for receiving both the police report and the police report data elements. Also, under the account only the Admin (IDS_ADMIN) and Super Admin (IDS_SUPR_ADMIN) will see this tab. All other user roles will not see this tab even if the account is set up for data elements.

To download the data elements CSV (comma-separated values) file you will need to provide the following fields.

Required Fields

Account (prefilled with accounts for users that have access to data elements)

One Date To/ From field

Date of loss to and from OR
Date data received to and from

Search is limited to 31 calendar days. Cannot search more than 31 days at one time. Data elements will only be available going back to the date the account was flagged as a data element account.

Optional Fields

State. The default search includes all states but you can select one state to limit the search results.

After completing the required fields, click download to download the police report data elements that match the search criteria. A CSV file will begin to download in the browser's download folder. To access the data elements, open the CSV file once completed from browser's download folder.
